Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream is influenced by his international impact. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won a Colombian Kids Choice Award as the most popular Song for the year 2017. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. Vaina Loca is it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina that year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit single Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical environment, as both his mother & older brother are professional musicians. In interviews he has described participating in music as compulsory. He was taught how to play the saxophone, guitar, Ukulele, and piano while an infant. His initial goal was to be a veterinarian, the brother Julian convinced him to take lessons in singing with an Cuban teacher and the end outcome of discovering his talents in the field of singing changed the course of his life.
