Rosalia
Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Involved in the margins of traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she has also delved into different styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, but still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, has been a huge critical as well as commercial success. It topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and received the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and others. It was released on March 20, 2022, following the performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the program. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman ever to win both of these awards.
